Virgin Media has announced it's arrival in the mobile broadband market.

With a minimum 18-month contract, Virgin's Mobile Broadband package has a download limit of 3GB per month and comes with a free USB modem.

The package costs £15 per month. The company is already the second largest ISP in the country with around four million customers.

"The launch of our Mobile Broadband product means UK consumers can now get all their broadband needs from the UK’s leading broadband expert," said Neil Berkett, Virgin Media's chief executive.

"Virgin Media already provides the fastest broadband in the UK over our fibre-optic network and now customers can enjoy our broadband both at home and when on the move," he continued.
