Nokia has announced the launch of its Comes With Music service, which offers customers unlimited music downloads.

Nokia Comes With Music: Reactions

The handset manufacturer announced that it would be selling the Nokia 5310 XpressMusic handset for £129.95 from The Carphone Warehouse.

Part of the payment will cover a year's unlimited access to the Nokia Music Store. Tracks can be downloaded to the phone or to your PC.

"Comes With Music sets a precedent for consumer value and convenience that the rest of the digital entertainment industry is already copying," said Nokia's Tero Ojanperä, referring to services such as Sony Ericcson's PlayNow Plus.

Nokia's Music Store has tracks from all the big four music labels - EMI, Universal, Sony BMG and Warner – though the music does come with DRM (digital rights managament) protection, meaning you will be unable to copy music to other devices besides your phone and PC.

The device will be available from 16 October but you can pre-order one at The Carphone Warehouse website now.
