Former world champion John Higgins takes on Nottingham's Anthony Hamilton in the opening match of snooker's Grand Prix today.

All the action from Glasgow will be available to watch live through the BBC Sport website.

Saturday's other match sees Joe Perry take on Barry Hawkins and defending champion Marco Fu will play Jimmy Michie on Sunday.

Sunday will also see two of snooker's true legends in action - Stephen Hendry takes on Dave Gilbert while Steve Davis faces Australian Neil Robertson.

World champion Ronnie O'Sullivan plays China's Liang Wenbo on Tuesday.
