Web User: Queen visits Google in London

Google have inserted a picture of the Queen to the Google Doodle on its homepage to celebrate a forthcoming visit by Queen Elizabeth. The image, pictured, shows the Queen in profile with a golden crown above the letter 'E'. The Queen and the Duke of Edinburgh will make the short trip from Buckingham Palace down to Google's London office where they will be treated to a tour. The royal party will meet Google executives and staff and will be invited to upload a video to the royal family's official channel on Google-owned YouTube. Staff will also demonstrate Google Earth and how it is being used for a conservation project in the Amazon. Last year, staff at Google's London office helped the Queen launch a dedicated royal channel on the video-sharing website. The YouTube channel now has 54 royal videos and has been visited by 1.6 million people. Check out Web User's video of Google's Zurich offices. www.youtube.com/theroyalchannel
