Sport.co.uk adds highlights videos

Sport.co.uk has launched an online video service which will let you see free highlights of major sporting events including Premier League football.

The content, which is provided by Virgin Media and Perform, will also include action from the worlds of golf, tennis rugby, cricket, darts and basketball.

A video player, called E-Player, which was launched by Perform and Virgin in August, has been embedded into the site.

Sporting action will be presented in the form of one- or two-minute clips, and according to the company, up to 10 clips will be added each day.

Sara Vincent at Media Corp, Sport.co.uk’s owners, said: "E-Player is the best source of broadcast sports videos in the UK, fulfilling our goal to provide sports fans with premium sports content and daily sports updates.

"Videos bring sports news to life; with this in mind we wanted to enhance our existing Sport.co.uk TV area by adding premium broadcast content to the site," she continued.
