YouTube is expected to announce details of a deal with MGM today, whereby it will show full-length television shows as well as movies on its website.
Owned by Google, YouTube is the world's largest video-sharing website and the new deal will give it access to Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer's archives.
An official announcement expected today and Web User will bring you more details as we receive them.
The long-running series American Gladiators is expected to be the first show unveiled by MGM on its own YouTube channel.
On another channel, MGM will post full-length action films including Bulletproof Monk and The Magnificent Seven and clips from popular movies such as Legally Blonde.
These will be free to watch, with adverts running alongside the video.
Many TV networks already show short clips on YouTube, but the majority of its content is user-generated clips.
