Texan Chase Hoffman was presented with an early Christmas present on Wednesday morning - the chance to slap Jay Nguyen around the face with a 7kg Scottish salmon. Nguyen, the chief executive of Sweemo.com, set up an online auction last week in which the winning bidder got to slap the boss multiple times with a fish. Web User went along to film the salmon pasting. Hoffman, from Austin, Texas turned up bright and early at Trafalgar Square in central London. Dressed in a Blackburn Rovers shirt with the word 'fish' and the number seven printed on the back, Hoffman had paid £401 for the privilege of slapping the boss of Sweemo multiple times. The salmon was carried onto the historic square in a black plastic bag. In total Nguyen was hit approximately 10 times in front of a crowd of bemused tourists. Nguyen told Web User that the stunt was organised to show that anyone can buy or sell a 'unique moment' in the Sweemo online marketplace.
