You can watch the Queen's annual Christmas Day message at video-sharing website YouTube at 3pm on Thursday 25 December.

Launched last year, the Queen's YouTube channel showcases archive and modern video clips of the Queen and other members of the Royal Family and events.

The first televised Christmas Broadcast was filmed at Sandringham House in Norfolk in 1957. An archive video clip of the broadcast is currently the most viewed clip on the Queen's YouTube channel.

The Queen's 2008 Christmas broadcast will be available on the channel at 3pm on 25 December (Christmas Day), the same time as the traditional broadcast on television.

In an alternative to the Queen's Christmas message, the PG Tips Monkey has donned a wig and recorded a spoof message.

The speech is a prelude to a pastiche of the Morecambe and Wise breakfast sketch starring the woolly monkey and comic Johnny Vegas that will air for the first time on ITV on Christmas Day.
