Audio footage of communications between air traffic control and a passenger jet that recently crashed into the Hudson river has been released.

An audio recording of communications between air traffic control and a passenger jet that recently crashed into the Hudson river in New York has been released. Capt Chesley B 'Sully' Sullenberger managed to safely land the plane in the river after telling air traffic control that the plane had suffered a bird strike. He can be heard saying: "We'll be in the Hudson". All passengers and crew on board Flight 1549 survived.
