Watch London Monument webcam

A memorial built in honour of the Great Fire of London will be re-opened on Monday and you take in the view from the top, online.

The Monument

Erected in 1677 to mark the Great Fire of London eleven years after the event, the Monument is being re-opened on Monday.

At the top of the 61-metre tower, the flame has been cleaned and restored after picking up centuries' worth of London's pollution.

Just beneath the flame you will find a webcam that gives panoramic views of London from its location, just yards away from Pudding Lane, where the fire started.

The Monument, which is the world's highest stone column, will officially re-open at 1200GMT on Monday.
