Web User meets the Twitchhiker

Web User caught up with the Twitchhiker just days before he attempts to make it as far away from Newcastle relying only on Twitter.

On 1 March Paul Smith, better known as the Twitchhiker, will embark on the maddest journey he has ever undertaken.

Relying only on the generosity of Twitterers he will try and make it as far away from his home in Newcastle as he can.

Everything from flights and food to accommodation will be taken care of by his Twitter followers, more than 4,000 of them, or so he hopes.

Free Twitter applications and tools

We interviewed the Twitchhiker today in our offices in London, just hours after he had got four jabs and only a few days before he explores the Twitteruniverse.
