Tony Hart flashmob pictures

Tributes were paid to the artist Tony Hart over the weekend by people who had created a 'flashmob' of his Plasticine character Morph.

Two hundred models of the Plasticine character Morph were placed at the Tate Modern on Sunday to pay tribute to the artist Tony Hart.

You can see pictures of some of the models on the London SE1 Community website.

The BBC website also has a video report on the Morph army.

Tony Hart was credited with getting a whole generation of school children interested in art in the television programmes Vision On, Take Hart and Hartbeat.

Hart died earlier this year aged 83. His daughter Carolyn Williams was at the Tate on Sunday to judge the Best Morph in Show prize.

More information about the man himself can be found on the official Tony Hart website.
