Apple has launched a new iMac and a new Mac Mini as well as updating its Mac Pro product line. The Mac Mini is Apple's small form-factor desktop PC, first launched in 2005. Starting at £499, the Mac Mini is available in two models. It has a 2GHz Intel Core 2 Duo processor, up to 4GB of memory and up to 320GB hard disk. The Mac Mini features nVidia GeForce 9400M integrated graphics. Apple claims it uses less than 13 watts of power at idle, which is up to 10 times less power than a typical desktop PC. There are two new iMacs, one with a 20in screen and one with a 24in screen. The former costs £949 and has a 2.66GHz Intel Core 2 Duo processor, 2GB of memory, a 320GB hard disk and nVidia GeForce 9400M integrated graphics. The latter costs from £1,199 and comes with a choice of integrated graphics or the nVidia GeForce GT 130 or ATI Radeon HD 4850 graphics cards. The new iMac and Mac Mini lines are now available through the Apple Store, Apple’s retail stores and Apple Authorised Resellers.
