Google launches Tip Jar site

Google has launched a new website where you can share tips about how to save money on the web and elsewhere.

Google has launched Tip Jar, a site where you can get and share tips about how to save money.

The idea is to help surfers share information about how to get the best deal, whether it's for online bargains or just general advice on how to save money.

You can share your own tips and also rate the tips left by others.

"There are lots of money-saving tips scattered across the web, but even if you found them, it would be hard to know which ones were worth trying," said Colby Ranger, a software engineer at Google.

"Tip Jar gathers tips in one place and invites people to rank them in order of usefulness and even add their own tips to the list," he continued.
