Watch the Queen berate Italian PM

A video of the Queen expressing her displeasure at the Italian PM's attempts to attract the attention of Barack Obama has become a web hit.

The Queen has been caught on film berating Italian PM Silvio Berlusconi after he seemed to shout to attract the attention of Barack Obama at a photoshoot.

After the G20 conference in London, world leaders were invited to a photoshoot with the Queen at Buckingham Palace.

Berlusconi, after the pictures were taken, shouted "Mr Obama!", which seemed to surprise the Queen. Obama responded "Mr Berlusconi," in a softer voice.

The Queen then responded: "What is it? Why does he have to shout?"

The footage was apparently distributed to the world's media, though initially it was the Italian press who worked out what had happened, recognising Berlusconi's distinct tones.

The video was then posted to the YouTube video-sharing website. Many YouTube viewers were unimpressed by Berlusconi's disregard for formal etiquette.

"The real problem is that most of the people who watch this video will think that all Italians behave like him. I am ashamed and not at all amused. I have never felt so humiliated by a person I did not even vote for," one wrote.
