Susan Boyle, the Britain's Got Talent contestant, has become the latest web sensation following her performance on ITV last Saturday night.
Her instant stardom is not just confined to the UK. Viewers from all over the world are logging on to YouTube to watch her performance.
Yesterday, Web User reported that the video had been view nearly six million times on YouTube. The figure has now almost doubled in 24 hours as Boyle's internet ascendancy grows.
Comments on the video-sharing website have also doubled from 30,000 to 60,000 in less than 24 hours. The YouTube video has been favourited more than 86,000 times.

The video has also garnered 97 honours on YouTube during its short life span, including most discussed on the site for the week.
Comments are flowing in, mostly praising Boyle for her performance.
"These 7 min. - like reading a good book from the beginning to the end. This strory made me a better man, thanx :)," wrote one.
Another commenter wrote: "That was brill, so want her to win, just seems to be a really nice person too."
This was echoed by yet another who wrote: "Thank you, Susan, for being yourself. Thank you for being so genuine. Thank you for your performance!!"
Boyle has become the bookmakers' early favourite, even though it looked like nerves might get the better of her before her performance on Saturday night.
However, as soon as she started into the song, from Les Miserables, the panel as well as the audience were awestruck.
Boyle, currently unemployed, sings in her local church and is a fan of karaoke. She admitted that she had never been kissed, but added, that this confession was not an advertisement.
