More Susan Boyle songs uncovered

Two more early recordings from global singing sensation Susan Boyle have been uncovered and are available to hear on the web.

Two more songs recorded by Susan Boyle have been uncovered by the Daily Telegraph.

The songs, Cry Me a River and Killing Me Softly With His Song, were recorded 10 years ago and distributed to a few of the singer's friends in West Lothian.

Boyle shot to global fame more than a week ago following her performance on Britain's Got Talent in which she sang I Dreamed a Dream from Les Miserables.

A YouTube video of the performance has been watched more than 36 million times.

Last week The Daily Record unearthed a recording of Boyle singing Cry Me a River on a charity CD.

The version which you can hear in this recording is an earlier demo tape.

Boyle recorded the demo at her own expense and sent it to several record companies as well as TV and radio talent competitions.

She even auditioned for Michael Barrymore's My Kind of People but was rejected.

Worldwide interest in Boyle has been massive. She has appeared on primetime US programmes including Larry King Live and has been invited to sing on The Oprah Winfrey Show.
