Web User: T-Shirt attracts huge sales following ironic reviews

A kitsch T-shirt featuring three wolves howling at the moon has become a bestseller on Amazon following a spate of humorous reviews.

One reviewer wrote that wearing it made him instantly attractive to women.

"After checking to ensure that the shirt would properly cover my girth, I walked from my trailer to Wal-mart with the shirt on and was immediately approached by women," wrote B Govern on Amazon.

"The Three Wolf Moon T-shirt gave me a +10 resistance to energy attacks, +8 Strength... and I have successfully solved 7 crimes in my city," wrote another.

Russell Dicker from Amazon said the Three Wolf T-shirt was currently the top-selling item in its clothing store.

The T-shirt is priced at between $9 and $18 (about £5 to £11). The 300-plus reviews have been circulated on the web and attracted thousands of visits to the Amazon page.

Not everyone who bought the T-shirt is satisfied. One reviewer wrote that it failed to attract supermodels.

Mountain, the manufacturer, replied that wearing the T-shirt does not guarantee that you will become a magnet for supermodels.

"There is no governing the fate of one man to secure the kindred love of a like-minded mate for life while baying at the moon on a warm Summer's night; to the man who wears not the 3 Wolf Moon and stumbles through life on a path of loneliness of one forgotten by the mortals he walks among," it wrote in a thread on the Amazon site.
