Menzies Digital closed down

John Menzies has closed its digital magazine service Menzies Digital (www.magazinesondemand.co.uk) just over a year after it launched.

The service let you download digital versions of popular print magazines such as Loaded, Marie Claire and NME, as well as Web User to their Desktop.

A message on the website's homepage reads: "We are sorry but this site is no longer operating.

"If you had a subscription to a digital magazine then it will have been automatically cancelled and any payment due would have been debited from your credit card before your credit card details were deleted from our databases," the message continued.

Anyone who had a Menzies Digital subscription to Web User will receive an email from Web User's publisher IPC Media in the next few days.

There is an alternative way of getting Web User in digital format by using the Zinio service.
