ITV's hit show Britain's Got Talent has not only boosted the channel’s ratings, but also its website, according to web-monitoring firm Hitwise.
Saturday’s final attracted 19.2 million viewers, making it the most watched non-sporting programme on TV in six years.

Saturday also brought record traffic to the ITV homepage and the Britain's Got Talent site.
Web searches for 'ITV' more than doubled last week and Saturday's finale ensured the Britain's Got Talent homepage picked up one in every 600 UK internet searches, making it the 40th most visited site in the UK.
Searches from the ITV homepage redirected 31 per cent of its traffic to the Britain's Got Talent site on the night of the final, which boosted the ITV homepage to the title of 36th most visited site in the UK for that day.
Robin Goad of Hitwise said: "This was the website's busiest day over the last three years - and therefore probably ever."
