Nokia has announced that its much-anticipated N97 handset will be coming to the UK on 19 June.
The touchscreen handset, which also features 32GB of internal storage, a Qwerty keyboard and a 5-megapixel camera, will initially cost £500 for a SIM-free handset.
However, on 26 June, Orange, 3, T-Mobile and Vodafone will be selling the handsets on contract. Prices are not yet fixed though the information is expected soon.
The N97 is Nokia's first real challenger to the iPhone's dominance of the smartphone market, though will have to compete with a glut of new Android-based phones expected to be released before the end of the year as well as the Android and Sony Ericsson's recently announced Satio.
