Opera has released the first beta of its latest web browser, Opera 10.
The release showcases Opera Turbo technology, which the company claims delivers web content up to 40 per cent faster than Opera 9.6, its current browser.
The Opera 10 beta also has a newly designed interface, with a feature that lets you view thumbnails of all your tabs.

Other new features in the beta version include automatic updates and a more extensive spell checker, covering more than 36 languages.
The interface will continue to be tweaked until the final release of Opera 10. Opera chief executive Jon von Tetzchner said: "We have more surprises on the way."
He also said the Opera 10 beta "will excite both long-time users and those new to Opera".
