Google has introduced Google Squared, a new innovation that offers you information from a number of sources all in one place. It presents search results in a spreadsheet-style arrangement and is intended to help with queries that would normally require you visiting a number of websites in order to gather the information you are looking for. Google Squared uses principles of 'semantic' search, gathering information from multiple sources to present you with all the information required to answer your query. "While gathering facts from across the internet is relatively easy (albeit tedious) for humans to do, it's far more difficult for computers to do automatically," said Google's Alex Komoroske. "Google Squared essentially searches the web to find the types of facts you might be interested in, extracts them and presents them in a meaningful way," Komoroske continued. Google has seen a number of new competitors to its dominance of the web search market recently with the launch of Bing, Wolfram Alpha and Hulbee.
