Mozilla has launched Firefox 3.5 Preview - the final test version of the next Firefox browser before its full launch.
Some 800,000 people have been helping to test Firefox 3.5 ahead of its full launch, which was initially rumoured for 10 June though is now more likely to happen some time in the week beginning 15 June.
Firefox 3.5 - which was initially Firefox 3.1 - has seen four beta releases already.
"While this release has not yet completed the testing required to be declared a release candidate, it is considered stable for daily browsing use and we appreciate your assistance in helping us test and evaluate this preview release," Mozilla said on its website.
The Firefox 3.5 Preview, also known as Firefox 3.5b99, can be installed by clicking on Help and Check for Updates.
However, if you aren't already using the Firefox 3.5 beta, Mozilla does not recommend that you download the Preview.
"If you’re not yet a Firefox 3.5 Beta user, we recommend that you wait for the upcoming Firefox 3.5 Release Candidate, which should be in the next 1-2 weeks," Mozilla said.
In other browser-related news, Opera last week unveiled the Opera 10 beta.
