The festival begins on Tuesday and runs through until Saturday. Coverage will begin at 1340BST every day except Saturday, when it will begin at 1420BST.

Tuesday will see the King's Stand Stakes (1505BST) and the St James's Palace Stakes (1545BST).

The favourite for the former, Amour Propre, is owned by a consortium headed by the BBC's John Inverdale.

In the St James's Palace Stakes, Mastercraftsman looks to be the punters' favourite, having shown his class in winning the Irish 2,000 Guineas.

On Saturday, the Golden Jubilee Stakes will take place, with JJ The Jet Plane fancied by the tipsters.
