Labour MEP Richard Corbett has appealed to anyone who may have video footage of Leeds United's defeat by AC Milan in the 1973 European Cup Winners' Cup final.

Corbett, the MEP for Yorkshire and Humber began a petition with the aim of getting the result of the controversial match overturned.

He has now appealed for anyone with video footage of the game to aid an investigation which he hopes UEFA will instigate as a result of the petition.

"So far, searches for the whole match have proved fruitless. There is a minute of highlights on YouTube but very little else," said Corbett.

"If anyone does have a copy of the whole game, please get in contact with my office or the club," he continued.

More than 12,200 people signed the petition, which Corbett said showed "the continued sense of injustice about the match".
