Are you a flash mobber? The madcap internet craze which has been sweeping the US and parts of Europe hit London last night.
Flash mobbing is when the internet is used to organise crowds to meet up in a public place to engage in obscure acts.
Last night, around 200 flash mobbers gathered at a London furniture shop to praise the beauty of the sofas on display. The crowd got their instructions of where to meet via a dedicated flash mob website.
They were instructed to gather in a certain pub depending on their astrological signs and then received instructions to gather at the Sofa UK store on Tottenham Court Road.
The flash mob phenomenon has already proved popular in the US - where crowds hit a Toys R Us store in New York to worship a huge model dinosaur and in Rome, where "mobbers" gathered at a Rome bookshop to bombard staff with queries about non-existent books.
