The current highest bid stands at $12,200 (around £6,100) with a week to go before the auction closes.

The T-shirts were posted on the auction site by Rachel Marsden, the jilted ex-girlfriend of the internet guru, after Wales ended their relationship on his Wikipedia page.

One of the T-shirts, a medium-sized, black 'Starter' brand shirt, has two white stains, which Marsden has been unable to remove.
