Tiscali has signed an agreement with Sky to show the basic Sky channels on its IPTV (Internet Protocol Television) service.
The channels, including Sky One, include the same ones that were removed from Virgin Media's TV service after a high-profile dispute between Sky and Virgin over payment.
The channels will be made available to Tiscali's TV customers this summer, who already have access to Sky Sports and Sky Movies through the service.
Mike Darcey, Sky's chief operating officer, said: "We're delighted that Tiscali has chosen to invest in our suite of basic channels and use them to differentiate its expanding TV service.
"Sky is always looking for new ways to make quality programming available to a wide range of customers, both through our own platform and by working with others," Darcey added.
The move is sure to frustrate Virgin Media and its customers who have lost access to popular shows such as 24 and Lost.
Tiscali offers a 'triple-play' package including up to 2Mbps broadband, TV and free weekend calls for £14.99 per month. The service was launched in March.
