TomTom G0 940 dynamic routing satnav

For the fastest way to get from A to B, TomTom is promising that if there's a quicker route available its new Go 940 satnav will be able to find it.

It includes an improved version of TomTom's IQ Routes system, which uses road information from real drivers rather than just speed limits to calculate the best way to go. It now features data broken down by day of the week in five minute intervals, so you can be sure it will always pick the best route even if it's rush hour.

It can also tap into TomTom's exclusive High Definition traffic service, so if the current traffic conditions differ from the expected travel time it will automatically calculate a new route so you'll get to your destination more quickly.

The Go 940 will be available later in the year, pricing has yet to be decided. See TomTom for more information.

Viewsonic 120Hz 3D flatpanel

Viewsonic's new 22in 120Hz monitor may not sound that exciting at first but in addition to offering rock solid, blur free video performance, when it's teamed up with a special Nvidia graphics card it can deliver realtime 3D effects as well.

The 3D magic comes from the combination of Viewsonic's panel and Nvidia's GeForce Stereoscopic 3D technology which results in lifelike three dimensional gaming.

Extra dimensions aside, it's a well specified set capable of achieving a 3ms response time so it you shouldn't see any nasty artifacts or ghosting when watching fast moving video. It stretches to a resolution of 1,680x1,050 pixels and offers a contrast ratio of 1000:1. It also includes built in speakers and supports dual link DVI inputs for high res gaming.

The 120Hz panel will be available later in the year, pricing has yet to be decided. For further details see Viewsonic.

Mixa Tape USB cassette

If you're after the ultimate in retro styling, the Mixa Tape looks like it comes from a time when Walkman ruled the world of portable audio and compressed music was usually the result of an unfortunate accident.

Styled to look like an old school cassette, inside it packs a full 1GB of storage giving you considerably more space to store your tunes than the average C90 - plus there's no need to rewind it afterwards.

The USB connector folds out from the side, so you can easily get your tracks onto it, or alternatively you can load it up with photos or documents instead. Unfortunately it's only a storage device, so you'll need to plug it into a PC or compatible soundsystem to actually playback any tunes stored on it.

The Mixa Tape is available now for 19.99 from I Want One Of Those.

Epson Stylus SX100 budget all-in-one

Epson's new Stylus SX100 multifunction printer isn't just cheap to buy, it's pretty reasonable to keep running thanks to its low cost individual ink cartridges. As you can replace each colour separately, at just £5.99 a pop, you don't end up throwing away unused ink as you would with a combined unit.

Despite its budget roots, it's still a pretty speedy performer - capable of churning out prints at a maximum of 26 pages per minute. It can turn its hand to photos too and the Easy Photo Print technology can even remove red-eye before creating the final print.

It also comes with a 600dpi scanner and the bundled Easy Photo Fix software will help clean up scans of old photos, helping to restore washed out colour in faded shots.

The SX100 will be available in September for £59.99, see Epson for further details.
