I think thicko is a bit harsh. You've got a very entertaining site with many hours of work put into it, hardly the product of a thinko.

Like you, I'm self-taught in many things (where I can get away with it) and CSS is still new to me. I'm a believer in sticking with the tools we're comfortable with, in time we outgrow any limitations, wanting to move on to something more complex. In the meantime all the tinkering & fiddling we do expands our knowledge, at our own pace.
