Why don't you have it all log on automatically for you without pressing any icons whether in your quick launch or desktop?
Drag the acatel speedtouch connection icon (or a copy) into your startup folder.This will connect as soon as boot up sequence is complete.
Also drag an Outlook Express icon (or a copy) into the same startup folder,and this will check for emails every...you specify in options.
To connect to your home page of your choice....also drag an IE icon (or copy) into the same startup folder and you'll get your home page.
This is how my setup is.......except the with ie.I don't always want to go to my home page which is Google......but I'm there ready,and emails can be downloaded.
Always have your firewall and av program running at startup too....for obvious reasons.
