Aha! The answer to this is simple, that is if I understand the question correctly. Go to your Email program, tools, options, connections, change. Then tick which option you want, which I believe is the third. Then opening your Email program will automatically connect to your Broadband.
Similarly in IE., tools, internet options, connections, then tick the third item.

Hopefully this is what you are looking for. Simply launching either I.E. or Outlook will auto-connect and I.E. will go straight to what-ever home page you have designated.
