Thanks for the reply byron. The answer to you questions is no. I have been on broadband for about 2 years. the problem is I can log on using the broadband icon, but I cannot log on using the internet icon on the quick launch nor on the start menu. When logging on using the broadban icon all that happens is I log on to the net but no homepage etc just my desktop layout, I must then click on the icon on the quick bar to bring up my home page. Previously I was able to click on my e-mail programme or the icon in the quick launch and a splash screen would appear giving me the oppertunity to log on to either. All I have done is install a larger hdd. then installed all my programmes.
The only thing to do with good advice is pass it on.
