Hi! I am really getting bogged down now with all the different isp's out there. I have kind of narrowed it down to about 5. I would ideally like unlimited 512k broadband not capped packages and would rather not pay a lump sum for connection, or at the most as much as £20. I will be buying my own modem/router. I have my eyes on the speedtouch 510. (more later). OK the isp's. I was seriously considering tiscali due to the sucess of the company and free connection, but i have heard reports that the connection speeds have problems and the network is very unrealiable. Then recently i have considered plusnet and fair broadband but their packages are too complex i would like to keep it simple. The other day i saw an advert for Gio broadband but i have read about the company bearly braking even and some legal issues. I would like a secure company that will be around in the forseeable future. I saw an advert for virgin and thought it seemed good, but people have said that there have been network problems. Ok, serious companies now. I am seriously considering freedom2surf and pipex. I don't mind the set-up cost issue of having to pay if not subscribing for more than 12 months because once i choose i will stay for the foreseeable future. Does anyone have any plusses or minuses on freedom2surf or pipex? Does these packages allow P2P file sharing? Any comments would be greatly appreiciated. Regards
