I didn't make something clear, I was with Freeserve Broadband paying £27.99 and now TODAY Freeserve have changed to Wanadoo so I am with them now but still got the same account at the moment. Wanadoo are offering different packages. Because I'm already a customer, my contract will stay the same i.e. no cap, but they say that their "Fair use clause applies" although it doesn't say what is a fair usage. I hope this make sense.
I'll try answering these questions:-
What is it capped at? Existing customers £27.99 - no cap, If you change to £17.99 - 2GB usage a month, New customer £27.99 - 15GB usage a month, Existing & new customers £34.99 - 1Mb usage a month
What sort of penalty is there if you go over the limit? Do they allow it and charge you more or just say "That's it, you have to stop surfing for the rest of the month." How I have read it, they'll disconnect you.
I am confuse on what to do.
