Going back to the initial point... I think the best thing to do in the short term is to monitor the response to this group. At the moment it seems to be working quite well, but if it became overloaded and stopped being useful we'd think of another way of letting readers shout about their sites (and letting other readers shout back!). I think an open forum is the best place to do this.
I've no idea how many of our readers have their own websites - perhaps we'll run it as the next Vote on the site. Personally I have great respect for anyone who ventures into the world of webmastering.
As for site submissions, Jonny is right when he says "not for profit" - everyone's got to pay the bills, but we have to draw a line somewhere, so we exclude profit-making sites. Innovative money-making sites are covered in the CashPoints section of Web User magazine.
