E-mail for Domain name

Hi,
I wounder if anyone can help me....
I have a domain name with e-mail re-direction with VirtualNames.co.uk.
I have set-up aliases to my domain name etc and forwarded it to my btconnect e-mail address which is POP3.
When i send an e-mail to someone i want my domain name e-mail address to show-up. At the moment it just comes from my btconnect addresss. Do I have to buy a mailbox like POP3 from VirtualNames to do this? Please advise of my options.
