It depends on the quality of the cable. If you bought a cheap and cheerful one from your local supermarket then yes, it could have an effect. If you bought a good quality one with each individual wire wrapped separately within the core then no, it won't be a problem. After all BT send your signal down a line possibly 3 miles long. Your extra 15 metres won't matter.
