I presume the standalone wab involves making a copy of the original wab, then save it in, say in my documents so it can be found easily, someone can then log in and work on that without any trouble. If I want then to use that wab in outlook express, could I overwrite the original wab with the standalone one?
Alternatively, what if I was to share the main wab and ensure I definitely don't try to open it whilst someone is working on it, surely that would be ok wouldn't it? Are you certain it could be opened on both computers at the same time? I always thought you get a messsage indicating that when the file is open, it cannot be opened on another pc. I'm sure it does that with other files I've shared on my network. What do you think?
