USB connections
      Sat Jun 07 2008 08:48 AM

Hi,

Could someone tell me if there is such a thing as a USB switch. What I want to do if it is possible is this: I have two computers, one of which has a wireless keyboard and mouse while the other has a wired keyboard and mouse. What I would like is to be able to get rid of the wired keyboard and mouse and use the wireless keyboard with both machines, reducing the clutter on my desk top. Is it possible to connect the wireless receiver to some sort of switch and have two outputs from the switch - one to each computer? I don't use both computers at the same time so it would be nice to be able to switch the wireless keyboard to whichever one I am using.
The reason for all this is that although I could change the keyboard between each computer manually, both computers are in a fairly inaccessible location
