Well, it has to be said that Ebay have been VERY good.
They've admitted that the listings were made by an unauthorised third party. It took them two attempts to clear all the listings, and there was still 1p in fees not cleared, but I had 7p in my Paypal account so just used that to clear the penny.
Well, fair play to Ebay. They investigated it properly, and got it resolved, so I'm happy. Now to secure my account so this can't happen again!
