ipod touch and bt home hub problem
      Sun Jun 01 2008 01:26 PM

Hi
I have bought an ipod touch 2nd-hand off ebay. All is great except I can't get it to recognise my wireless connection

I have a bthomehub router, security enabled

The ipod touch screen asks for IP addres (got), the Subnet mask (got, we think), the DNS (got) and the 'Router' (not sure what to put in here, if anything)and the search domains (???).

Also it requests a decision for HTTP proxy: off/manual/auto, and we have selected off

At no time does it ask for a WEP key - perhaps that is the next stage

We get an error msg 'Safari can't open the page because it can't find the server'

Intermittently we get a wi-fi connect logo showing, but no connection takes place with any urls

Has anyone else solved this problem please

I am also posting under 'music and media' hope that is ok

Thank you

S
