A friend of mine had her computer fixed by a computer technician this week When she got it back and switched on she discovered he'd wiped everything. No documents left and NO PICTURES When she asked him about it he told her that everything on the machine was corrupt and he couldn't save anything.
She's really upset that he didn't tell her first before he went ahead and wiped everything as she feels surely he could have saved the photos?
Someone else told her that if the police can retrieve apparently 'wiped' data from discs, there must be software available that can retrieve things like these 'wiped' photos.
