Seems you are in the same boat as me I Recieved that message and the Only upgrade I got was a different connectivity driver setup I get 1.1 MB on this line though I did experience it at 6.2 MB some months ago for a few hours Why? Nobodies saying. Worth going to AOL Member services and enquiring about the Price of an Upgrade (Get a free router)And they may give you a discounted Price? Disregard the Numbers on the Ads they will be lower than that. Bottom line You may Not get a Big speed increase But your Numbers are Not right if you are on the 512K link should be in the region of TX 144 RX 576 Difference if any? will be only Pennies to upgrade A 1.1MB Link Really is the Best speed to Stop Buffering Sound and Pictures. My numbers are...TX 288 RX 1152 You are under No obligation to take the first offer (They may barter OK?) Do keep us informed as to what happens
