Sorry, as it's part of my living you tend to get to know the ins and outs!
There have been a number of 'second' sites like this (given that eBuyer is a reputable PC component retailer, I do think it's a bad name choice). There was one site that used to give people the option to go beyond the 80 character feedback.
Personally to me that is daft. As I have said before, think of feedback as that road rage moment. You get someone give you the finger, you wave a fist.........it escalates. Unpleasant.
I have left negative, but it has always been 'polite' and factual - they were all for non payers. I have seen the negatives left by some and they are really worrying. These are the feedback 'ragers' who don't just wave the fist, they stop the car, get out and break your windscreen. And all usually over something that cost £1.99.................
If you go into eBay Community and read some of the message boards there, there are an awful lot of these people bickering about the changes. And they are the sellers that take ages to send items, don't sell what they describe, rip you off on P&P and think you will be okay with that. With luck, these changes will wipe these people off the grid.
The biggest issue now is will eBay do the same with the bad buyers.
-------------------- I loved my grandmother very much.......and she fetched a good price on eBay.
