wireless set up security advice
      Mon May 19 2008 04:51 PM

Hello to all you guys again. Yesterday bought a new laptop. HP Pavilion,Vista Home Premium, and a Belkin wireless g plus mimo router. Set it up myself last night. We have a desktop pc running XP (sp2) and already have broadband from a company called digiweb (ireland). Ran the instillation wizard on the xp pc,connected the router between the modem and pc. Laptop is picking up the signal and also daughters Ipod Touch is too. Set up a password to access settings, Renamed the network, Chose WPA/PSK and password protected that too. Laptop and Ipod Touch both requested the password the first time they connected to internet, but did not ask after that again.

Does this all look that it was done right ?
Do the wireless machines only request a password the first time they log on ?

Any advice would be much appreciated, first time doing this,(all info on set up etc i got from reading this forum and the magazine)
THANKS IN ADVANCE.
