It's an older computer, I'm just back using it for about a year or so. It's a Celeron processor, 467MHz, I just "upgraded" to 512 MB of RAM, Windows XP SP2. My computer didn't have SP2 so I downloaded it a short while ago and thats about the same time I was getting the slowdown. I also visited some not so friendly websites. My computer is not allowing me to go into standby or sleep mode...says the device driver is not allowing it. Before the installation of SP2 and visiting those dumb websites, the computer was fine.
