I found the files after checking the 'hidden' option (thanks, BurrWalnut & Fusion) but to view them I had to 'Open With..' a program so I chose OE. All this results in is my OE opening but still not showing the contents of my 'Local Folders'. Incidentally out of the 10 folders I'd created, 8 have no longer any previous emails yet 2 still remain untouched with contents still there.
The old emails must still be there somewhere as the file sizes of the supposedly 'empty' files are quite hefty (6000kb+).
What would you suggest I change the program to that will open the .DBX files?
