Thanks very much for your advice, I don't mind testing alternatives.
Must admit I'm becoming more confused than ever with AVG8's scan results. This morning left it to scan the entire computer. Result: No Threat/ No Spyware. Checking further there's a host of Adware plus Trojan's listed as found.
Made a list and Googled, TitanShield Antispyware, some program which nags you to buy after discovering spyware. totally unaware of this one, never used it or been nagged.
Trojans - Zlob/Bindfil.g/ZmarkA/Foon/Stoped. All said to be nasties.
So why does AVG say, no threats, no spyware, nothing removed?
Confused? Puggled is more like it!
